The Scribes were beings who, long ago, recorded the stories of Mora. Their writings, it was said, concealed the path to unimaginable knowledge and were believed to hold the power to shape the world according to one's own desires.
Once, the Scribes lived in every corner of Mora. But over time, they and their stories gradually vanished. No one knew the reason, but everyone understood that the wonders of the Scribes were always tied to the heart of their world.

The realm of Mora is a multifaceted tapestry of vibrant places and breathtaking landscapes, offering endless opportunities for adventure. Alma’s journey with her friends takes them to a floating island, through the cave systems of the blistering hot Valley of Heder, across the icy sands of the Desert of Forgetting, into the labyrinth of an abandoned fortress shrouded in bleak mist, to the picturesque village of windmills, and up into the white Torma Mountains, where every shadow is swallowed. In addition, the tales of the Scribes speak of other fascinating regions and peoples, bringing Mora to life far beyond the scope of the main plot.
Mora is ruled by the Dawn Dew Queen, who dwells at the heart of the world. Long ago, the tribe of the Brasten invaded the realm, threatening to plunge it into chaos with the power of the Gray, a dark and mysterious power. The peoples of Mora united under an ancestor of the Dawn Dew Queen, and together with the Scribes, they managed to drive back both the Brasten and the Gray. Since then, they have lived in peaceful coexistence.
